For passengers who would like to claim VAT refund, before check-in, you can contact VAT Refund for Tourists on 4th level, at gate 10. Otherwise, you can obtain the required Customs stamp, and then proceed to claim your VAT refund in the Passenger Terminal building at the booths on the east or west side.
Be noted that if you are claiming VAT refund for expensive goods which have a value higher than 10,000 Baht each, the goods have to be carried through the Immigration for Customs officer to check and stamp your forms.
1. Tax Refund Forms should be checked at the Customs. Tourists have to submit Tax Refund Forms (pp10) and original VAT receipts along with the purchased items for a Customs officer to check, and stamp, sign and date in the specified part of the forms (pp10) at VAT Refund for Tourists on 4th level, at gate 10.
2.Reserve seat and check-in baggage in case the purchased items are finished jewelry, gold, watches, eyeglasses and fountain pens which have a value higher than 10,000 baht each, tourists have to present the items to a Customs officer to check, and stamp, sign and date the forms.
3. Go through the Immigration.
4. Submit the forms (pp10) and present the items to a Customs officer to claim your VAT refund at the VAT refund booths in the Passenger Terminal building on the east or west side
